Preparations for VD

 

NOTE ON PREPARATION FOR VD

1) Support staff (matrons) – boarding schools

·       Check if every child has their personal belongings – uniforms, shoes, sandals, eats, beddings etc.

·       Hygiene – hair must be cut, clean, neat uniforms etc.

·       Sanitation – make sure all beddings are neat and tidy, beds made properly, mopped/cleaned dormitories etc.

·       Keep your area ready to receive parents.

·       Serve with a smile.

 

2)Teaching staff – all schools.

·       Marking – classwork books, homework booklets & exams must be update and well evaluated.

·       Student files must contain – worksheets/pupils work (at least 2 for each subject marked & evaluated), examinations, holiday package, marked homework booklet, neat and tidy, report card etc

·       Children’s books – covered, neat & tidy, marked work, well detailed and organized notes, arrange them as a set for each child together to ease review & access by the parent(s).

·       Classroom environment – updated, remove worn-out displays and any unwanted stuff, keep them clean, dust off the shelves, files, books, tables & desks, display updated worksheets/pupil’s work etc.

·       Comments on children – give customer friendly comments desist yourself from giving discouraging feedback i.e your child is very stubborn and always running around but say “John’s character and behavior towards others is greatly improving as well as his concentration in class and I am glad to also inform your that we have an improvement plan in place to even help him further”

·       Be smart and ready to serve with a smile.
