DAS – NURSERY SPELL MASTERS!


Knowing words is the foundation to reading, comprehension and academic progress.

DAS Spell Masters is a unique spelling bee organized exclusively for Nursery Classes (Baby to Top).

Format

Round 1: At Respective Schools  

  • Schools will conduct their spelling bee within the week of 23rd June and send names of their participants for DAS Spell master’s competition to be held in 1st week of July at DAS Seeta 
  • The participants shall be from Baby - Middle-Top class 
  • The spelling list is provided, though additional and common words may be added during the Spell Masters.
  • Children should know the spelling, meaning and usage of words.
  • Email the nominations along with their Pitch Video to DAS.Spellmasters@dreamafricaschools.com
  • Pitch Video: The Nursery head / Class teacher/ Head teacher should make a 30 seconds video on the importance of Spellings, how they do it at their branch and how excited they are to send their nominations to DAS Spell Masters. 
  • Last date to receive nominations from branches: 1st July 4 PM

Round 2 : At DAS Seeta 

  •   Nominated winners from Different Branches will participate in DAS Spell Masters competition 
  •  The Venue is DAS Seeta and Date is 5th July
  •  Parents of Participants are invited to reach the venue (own means)
  •  Categories: Spell Babies, Spell Juniors, Spell Seniors 
  •  Winners: We expect a Winner and Runner up in each category 
  •  Winning: Certificate + Medal + Take away Gift 
  • Expect Media Coverage

 DAS -NURSERY SPELL MASTERS IS TO BE ORGANISED IN TERM 2; the words to be spelled are categorized into 5 themes.

 Babies ( 3-4 years) are to master the  @beginner words,

Melodious Middle ( 4-5) is to master the @Beginner & Intermediate words,

Top class (5-6) is to master all three categories: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
